Bio

Alex is a 36 year old artist, designer, fabricator, and problem solver currently residing in Savannah, GA. In 2016, he left his hometown of New Orleans and a 10 year career at Kern Studios to join his Fiancee (now Wife) who took a professorship at SCAD. He has a passion for Art and technology combined with a relentless urge to learn and question conventions. After Kern Studios he spent time focused on consulting work primarily in Digital Fabrication utilizing multi axis robot milling systems to produce large scale sculptural elements for film, television, architectural designs, props, and themed environments. He is now a proud member of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees local 491 working in the film and television industry as a Sculptor.

When he's not building or creating, Alex enjoys relaxing with his two Korean rescue dogs, Kayak Fishing, Landscaping, Camping, Hiking, Reading, and going on "Yak-Packing" adventures with his wife, spending up to a week on a secluded river with everything they need in their Kayaks.
